Currys

Curry Powder is another unique spice that I can’t live without. When you add the right amount of curry to any barbeque dry rub recipe or barbeque sauce you won’t believe the difference in taste. Curry is used all over the world, but growing up in St. Louis Missouri I was not exposed to it often. Curry goes well with beef cube steak. I recommend slightly heating it to bring out the aroma of the spice in a warm skillet prior to applying to beef cube steak.
Garlic Cloves

Fresh garlic has an amazing aroma. I recommend always using fresh garlic. Simple flatten the garlic clove with the blade of a butcher knife applying a little pressure. This will separate the garlic from its shell and encourage the juices to come out. Garlic will spices up most of my beef cube steak recipes.
Unsalted Butter
Unsalted Butter
There is not need to get butter that has salt already in it. Not only is it probably the cheapest salt available, but is takes some of the control out of cooking. Personally, I also like to take ingredients like fresh garlic and melt them along with my unsalted butter. It is a simple garlic butter recipe. Butter is definitly a key ingredient in most dishes.
Turmeric
Turmeric
Turmeric is not a well know spice here in the states. It is a South Asian spice usually used in Indian recipes. Some of the benefits of Turmeric besides is unique taste have been linked to healthy teeth and the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. I like to heat this spice on an iron skillet before adding it to my favorite barbeque dry rub recipes. Turmeric complements chicken very well.
Cheap Whiskey
Cheap Whiskey
I prefer to use McCormick whiskey to most of my barbeque recipes. I find the whiskey complements the taste of beef cube steak. There is no reason to waste expensive whiskey when making barbque sauce. Most stores will sell McCormick’s for about $13 for a 1.75ltr. Also, if you are going to mix yourself a drink with coke, you may as well use this.
